DRAMA PARTIES

Parties can be for up to 15 children and adapted according to the age of the children.

A Drama Party can be based on a story, poem, play, historical event/period or seasonal. Or if that doesn't suit, the children's imaginations!

Drama Party Waiting in the Wings – 1 hour @ £60 plus travel

​

1. Drama games focusing on aspects such as confidence, characterisation, spatial awareness and movement

2. ‘Whoosh’ the story – this involves the story being narrated and the children acting it out as it happens in the middle of a circle

3. Allocate parts and create a short piece in response to the story

4. Perform

Drama Party Upstage - 1 ½ hours @ £80 plus travel

1. Drama games focusing on aspects such as confidence, characterisation, spatial awareness and movement

2. ‘Whoosh’ the story – this involves the story being narrated and the children acting it out as it happens in the middle of a circle

3. Allocate parts and create a short piece in response to the story

   
   

   Children break for food and cake

   
   

4. Rehearse the piece

5. Add simple props and costume

6. Perform

Drama Party Spotlight – 2 hours @ £90 plus travel

​

1. Drama games focusing on aspects such as confidence, characterisation, spatial awareness and movement

2. ‘Whoosh’ the story – this involves the story being narrated and the children acting it out as it happens in the middle of a circle

3. Allocate parts and create a short piece in response to the story

   
   

   Children break for food and cake

6. Face painting appropriate to story or characters

7. Perform to parents on collection
